Role Overview

The Installation Engineer supports offshore installation projects by developing engineering
designs, analyses, and procedures during tender, preparation, and execution phases. The role
is performed remotely, with close coordination across project teams, clients, and engineering
disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for offshore installations and execution activities
• Participate remotely in project kick-off and progress meetings
• Review project specifications and prepare engineering clarifications and
  queries
• Interface with internal departments and clients regarding work plans and
  technical clarifications
• Prepare engineering planning documentation, including procedures and
  analyses, in coordination with the Project Manager or Senior Installation
  Engineer
• Define manpower requirements for onshore and offshore activities in
  collaboration with the Lead Engineer
• Produce engineering analyses, procedures, and related Material Take-Offs
  (MTOs)
• Perform structural capacity and engineering calculations
• Validate calculation sheets and implement corrections when required
• Report engineering progress regularly to the Project Manager or Senior
  Installation Engineer
• Provide remote support during offshore execution phases and attend site visits
  if required
• Contribute engineering input to Project Close-Out reports

Requirements

• Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Offshore, Mechanical, Civil, or Maritime
    Engineering
• Experience
  • 0 to 6 years of experience in offshore or installation engineering roles
• Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of engineering design, analysis, and offshore installation
    methods
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, multidisciplinary environments
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • High level of responsibility and structured working approach
  • Excellent computer and digital engineering tool skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
