Role Overview

The Senior CAD Designer/Draftsman supports the Engineering Department by delivering
accurate, compliant, and high-quality technical drawings and design documentation. The
role is performed remotely and requires close coordination with engineers, project teams,
and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform drafting and design activities in line with departmental objectives and
  project requirements
• Comply with the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE)
  management system
• Provide drafting and design support to all departments
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned projects and related
  documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of drawings and project registers
• Identify technical issues and contribute practical design solutions
• Critically review input information for accuracy and completeness
• Produce drawings in accordance with project specifications, applicable
  standards, and internal guidelines
• Coordinate and consult with colleagues during drawing development and
  reviews
• Independently design and develop constructions or equipment where required
• Distribute drawings for internal checks and incorporate review comments
• Provide remote office-based support to offshore vessels or sites during
  execution phases
• Contribute feedback to improve departmental standards, tools, and working
  methods

Requirements

• Education
  • Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical
    discipline
• Experience
  • Relevant professional experience in a drafting or design role (mandatory)
• Skills and Competencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
  • Affinity with offshore and marine-related work environments
  • Ability to work effectively within distributed teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and project guidelines accurately
